Privacy Policy
This notice explains how The Protein Rotation handles information connected with theproteinrotation.com. Effective August 24, 2026.
Data you submit
Browsing requires no registration. There are no current accounts, payments, memberships, or comments. Email supplies your address, message, and attachments; they are used to answer, evaluate feedback, maintain editorial records, and detect abuse. Do not send health records or other sensitive data.
Automatic records
Servers and protective services may record IP address, request time, browser, device, operating system, referrer, pages, response codes, and security signals. These records deliver content, diagnose failures, plan capacity, and defend the site. Cookies and related storage can remember identifiers or choices; no behavioral-ad cookie program currently runs.
Named services
Google Analytics is not active. If enabled, Google may receive identifiers and usage events; this notice will describe the configuration, retention, and regional consent choices. No ad network serves the site today, though ads are planned. Before launch, the actual provider, cookies, personalized-ad processing, recipients, and opt-outs will be named. No prospective vendor is presented as a partner.
Uses and recipients
Data supports publication, security, correspondence, corrections, terms enforcement, and legal duties. Hosting, email, security, backup, and maintenance vendors may handle limited information under their own terms. Disclosure may occur under binding process, to address harm, or in a protected business transfer. The site does not sell mailing lists or personal information for cash.
Basis, retention, transfers
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, bases may include legitimate interests in a secure publication, your request, consent, or legal obligation. Logs last only as reasonably useful under provider settings. Email lasts through the matter and longer when needed for a correction, permission, dispute, or abuse record. Vendors abroad should use legally required transfer safeguards. No online system is perfectly secure.
Your choices
Depending on residence, you may seek access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, consent withdrawal, appeal, or regulator review. Covered U.S. residents may also know categories, sources, purposes, and recipients and opt out of covered sale, sharing, targeting, or profiling. We do not discriminate for a valid request and honor legally binding browser signals where applicable.
Contact and children
Send “Data rights” to hello (at) theproteinrotation.com. We may verify identity or agent authority and respond within the applicable period. The publication is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly request their data. External links have separate policies. This notice changes when practices, providers, or law change.
Detailed notice for U.S. residents
Information categories potentially handled today include identifiers such as IP and email address, network activity such as pages and referring URLs, device details, approximate area inferred by a technical provider, and the content of communications. They originate with visitors, browsers, devices, and infrastructure vendors. Purposes are delivery, protection, troubleshooting, correspondence, editorial records, and legal compliance. The site does not presently use these categories for targeted advertising, although the policy will change before planned advertising begins.
Cookie management
Browser controls can list and clear stored data, reject third-party cookies, or block most cookies. Choices are usually specific to one browser and device. Privacy extensions and private-browsing modes may reduce storage but can also interfere with site functions. If ads later operate, opting out of personalization may leave contextual or non-personalized ads visible. The publication will not interpret a failed or blocked optional script as consent.
No sensitive profiling
The Protein Rotation does not request diagnoses, laboratory results, medication lists, biometric identifiers, precise location, financial credentials, or government numbers. Recipe correspondence should not contain them. Interest in keto, protein, gluten-free food, or another category is not used by the current site to infer a medical condition. No solely automated system makes legal or similarly significant decisions about a reader.
Verification and complaints
Verification will be matched to the sensitivity of the request. The site will not ask for a passport merely to answer a question it can resolve through the originating email address. If an applicable request is refused, the response will give the required reason and appeal instructions. European and UK visitors may also complain to the competent supervisory authority. A limited compliance log may remain after deletion so the publication can record that the request was honored.
Communications and future newsletters
A recipe question is not consent to marketing. If The Protein Rotation later launches a newsletter, signup will be voluntary and will explain the email service used, the frequency or type of messages, and any measurement of opens or clicks. Each promotional message will offer an unsubscribe route. Unsubscribing may not delete a separate correction or privacy-request record when another lawful reason requires it, but the address will not remain on the promotional list merely for convenience.
External resources and policy changes
Articles may point to nutrient databases, government guidance, manufacturers, calculators, retailers, or other publications. Those operators decide their own data practices; a link does not place them under this policy. Material changes to The Protein Rotation’s practices will be described in updated text before or when the change takes effect. If a change requires fresh consent, an old visit or old consent will not be stretched to cover a substantially different purpose.
Do Not Track and aggregate information
Some browsers transmit a Do Not Track signal for which no single universal response exists. The site instead follows legally recognized signals where required and explains the technologies actually in use. It may use aggregated or de-identified statistics that no longer reasonably identify a person to understand popular categories, broken pages, or infrastructure demand. Such information should not be recombined to identify an individual. If re-identification becomes reasonably possible, the information will again be treated as personal data.
